Do you aspire to nurture & heal your home with nourishing herbal creations and expand your knowledge of how herbs can nourish, soothe, and support? During this 5-week intensive, you'll take a deep dive into the basic art & science of herbalism. If you've attended our signature Herbal Remedies for Beginners workshop before, you'll experience an expanded, in-depth version of it. This course is designed to challenge you in a supportive, instructor-led environment with engaging class sessions, hands-on workshops, and ways to test & measure your knowledge. Your instructor, Amber Colvin, is a qualified herbalist with years of hands-on experience, ready to guide & support you on your own herbal journey.

About the Intensive
  • Tuition Rate & Cost
    Accessibility is always at our fore. We are offering this intensive at a tuition rate of $75 for the 5-week intensive. Tuition is due at the time of application submission. Please contact us at amber@renewlivingsolutions.com if you have any questions or concerns about tuition.

  • Location: Chroma Detroit (In-Person Learning)
    Classes will be held at Chroma Detroit. The address for Chroma Detroit is 2937 E Grand Blvd Detroit, MI 48202. This is a coworking, office, and event venue with ample conference and learning spaces. You will be guided to your home classroom, hosted by Renew Living Solutions.
  • Coursework & Curriculum
    Coursework, homework, quizzes, and all other class materials will be available on Canva. You will receive access and instructions for creating your Canva account one week before classes begin. You will be able to access course topics in the portal upon account creation and material is unlocked during class each week. Writing supplies are provided to all students during class. Light refreshments will be served during each class.

Amber is a native Detroiter passionate & concerned about the foundational health and wellbeing of our Detroit community, with over 8+ years of education & hands-on herbal experience, and a lifetime of passion for traditional healing. She grew up in a household that always sought after traditional, holistic routes for prevention and healthcare, but her observations over the years of her community falling ill to chronic disease commoved her purpose to be the catalyst for change in the Detroit health ecosystem. Renew Living Solutions is a consulting firm facilitating wellness programming and individual coaching to transform & elevate the health of homes, businesses, & lifestyles in the SE Michigan area.
